News: Among other big games.

IGN recently sat down with THQ CEO Brian Farrell as part of their "End Bosses" series. During the interview, Farrell revealed what THQ has planned for E3, the future of the De Blob franchise

On the subject of E3 2010, Farrell had this to say:

I think we're going to blow people away at E3. You'll be seeing Saints Row 3. You'll be seeing the next Red Faction. You'll be seeing more of Homefront. We've been talking about it, but we'll actually show some of our Warhammer 40k MMO, and I think people are going to go, "Oh my God. They've got their stuff together."

On the subject of De Blob 2, Farrell revealed that the game will be making its way to other platforms beyond the Wii when its finally released:

IGN: You did announce a de Blob sequel, though. Is that coming to Wii?

Brian Farrell: Well, de Blob started its life on Wii. We've not announced anything yet, but obviously with a great brand like that -- people love that character -- taking it to other platforms, the game mechanic can be done. Actually, I prefer it on a normal controller. We'll be branching it out to other platforms -- that's a great brand to build.

But speaking of the Wii, Farrell confirmed that even after the flop of Deadly Creatures, THQ has plenty of games in store for the Wii. These games will be "brand extensions" that Farrell says will "[make] sense on Wii".

Finally, Farrell divulged that THQ is hard at work on games that will support Natal on the Xbox 360 and Sony's Motion Controller on the PlayStation 3. And once again, those games will be shown off at E3.

We'll have more soon. Most likely at E3 since that's where all of these games will be announced.
