News: You'll have to wait two more weeks to play the fifth Metal Gear Solid.
Konami has announced that the release date for
Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker is no longer going to be May 25. Instead, the game will sneak into stores on June 8, alongside a brand new PSP bundle.
The Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker PSP Entertainment Pack will retail for $199.99 and include the following:
Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker game on UMD
"Spirited Green" PSP-3000 system
PlayStation Network downloadable voucher for special in-game content which will be unlocked at the start of the game
PlayStation Network downloadable movie voucher; title to be determined
2GB Memory Stick Pro Duo
Hideo Kojima considers Peace Walker the true successor to Metal Gear Solid 4 and initially touted the game as "Metal Gear Solid 5". With that kind of pedigree behind the game, it's definitely worthy of a special PSP bundle to call its own.
We'll have more soon.
