News: But they don't know when it'll be released.

Geoff Keighley and his GameTrailers TV has been making a lot of waves in the last few weeks. In the latest episode, he cornered SCEA President Jack Tretton and asked him about Killzone 3.

While Tretton wouldn't confirm or deny that a Killzone 3 announcement is in the works (like at E3 perhaps), he did state that the game is in development.

"You know, we own Guerrilla Studios, and uh, they did a great job on Killzone 1 and 2 ... I don't know when you'll see announcements about it, but I can promise you a Killzone 3."

Keighley also tried to get Tretton to spill the beans on what the company has in store for E3. But on that question, Tretton was a bit more tight-lipped.

However, he did promise that gamers would be treated to plenty of surprises at the big show this June.

The latest episode of GameTrailers TV can be found right here (with the Killzone 3 talk starting at 6:40):
