News: And get your first peek at Spider-Man: Noir.

Activision has unveiled the first trailer for the next Spider-Man game, Spider-Man: Dimensions. Developed by Beenox, it'll be coming to the PlayStation 3, Wii and Xbox 360 this year. A DS version, developed by Griptonite, is also in the works.

As the title implies, Shattered Dimensions will feature multiple Spider-Men who will likely come together at some point to fight a foe larger than all of them. The game will include four "dimensions" in all, with the Amazing Spider-Man (AKA the original Spider-Man of Marvel's 616 universe) and Spider-Man: Noir (from the Marvel Noir miniseries) being confirmed so far. There are tons of other Spider-Men out there, so the remaining two dimensions could be anything. Ultimate Spider-Man... Spider-Man 2099... Marvel Zombies Spider-Man... the manga Spider-Man who has a giant mecha... the possibilities are endless.

But the new trailer does reveal a few details about the game and its Amazing star. Amazing Spider-Man will fight Kraven the Hunter and resemble a traditional Spider-Man game. Meanwhile, Spider-Man: Noir is battling gangsters (like Hammerhead and Norman Osborn) in a 1930s Depression-era New York. The whole thing also has a dark, almost black-and-white vibe to it.

You can check out the trailer here and get your first look at the game's "first person punching" mode:
