Top Ten iPhone/iPad Games (Week of 4/5/10) @ Gaming Target

News: Here's your first ever snapshot of the iPad's bestselling games.

Why was I not informed that The Simpsons Arcade was on the iPhone? And why hasn't EA ported it to the PSP, DS or one of the console download services? Perhaps because they're making too much money with the iPhone version, which topped this week's list of Best Selling iPhone Games (as well as landed at #4 on the list of Top Grossing iPhone Games).

But the big story this week is the launch of the iPad and with it, iPad specific lists of the Best Selling and Top Grossing games. Firemint's Read Racing HD topped both lists and it was followed by Scrabble For iPad, Plants vs Zombies HD, Need For Speed: Shift For iPad and Flight Control HD. Basically, if it looked beautiful in HD, it found a home on this initial list.
