News: Battle monsters in a multiplayer action games... sounds familiar.
Square Enix has announced they will be bringing Lord of Arcana, a multiplayer action game, to the PSP. However, Lord of Arcana hasn't been given a release date yet, so its still unknown when gamers will get a chance to play it.
According to the publisher, Lord of Arcana has "simple and intuitive controls" and "even those unaccustomed to action games can jump right into the fast-paced world of Lord of Arcana." This world has been created by "renowned illustrators from both Japan and abroad" who have contributed character designs to this "amazing collaboration."
Like most of Square Enix's previous games, Lord of Arcana involves a war against hordes of monsters and a quest for an item of great power:
This world is called Horodyn, so named for its first king.
At the edge of a village surrounded by a huge forest lies the powerful stone Arcana, the source of all order in the world.
It is said that only one with power can acquire Arcana.
Slayers annihilate hordes of monsters so that they could lay their hands on Arcana.
What power does it hold? And to what destiny is one with Arcana bound?
