News: But when will the demo be released? Why, when it's done, of course.
A Game of the Year Edition for Borderlands is scheduled to hit store shelves next week and, at $59.99 ($49.99 for the PC version), it represents one of this Fall's best values in gaming. In addition to the base game, it'll include all four of the Borderlands expansions: The Zombie Island of Dr. Ned, Mad Moxxi's Underdome Riot, The Secret Armory of General Knoxx and Claptrap's New Robot Revolution.
But the developers at Gearbox have one more surprise up their sleeves for the GOTY Edition. It will also include a special certificate that will allow the holder entry into the Duke Nukem Forever First Access Club. This pretigious gathering of individuals will get early access to the Duke Nukem Forever demo that Gearbox plans to release ahead of DNF's retail debut.
Like the full version of Duke Nukem Forever, the demo's release date is currently shrouded in mystery. So just when Borderlands: GOTY owners (and the rest of us for that matter) will get to demo DNF is unknown.
We'll have more soon.
