News: More info on Konami's sword wielding fighter of tiny robots

Konami has released more details on their newly announced games of fall 2004. Nanobreaker is a 3D action game that is being designed by Castlevania producer Koji Igarashi.

Nanobreaker takes places in a futuristic world where nanomachines are in use all over to assist in the lives of man. But then something goes horribly wrong (it always does) and the machines begin to harvest the iron from the blood of humans to raise a mechanical army. The hero of our tale fights back against the machines with a shape shifting Plasma Blade and the ability to use the machines own technology against them.

Nanobreaker features two different kinds of combat: an advanced mode that allows the player to rip off huge combo attacks and an easy mode for beginners.

Nanobreaker is set for an undisclosed Fall 2004 release for the Playstation 2.
