News: With the first title still sporting a To Be Announced release date, Intrepid talks sequel.
In an interview with Eurogamer, Interpid Games' Joe Rider has confirmed that a sequel to B.C. is in the planning stages and that it will feature Xbox Live enabled multiplayer.
The original B.C. isаcurrently in development at Intrepid,аwhich is one of Peter Moleyneux's satelite game studios.аIt was announced in October 2001 as a very ambitious "sandbox style" game featuring a prehistoric tribeаthat must be guided by the playerаin their fight for survivalаagainst dinosaurs, other tribes and higher level primates.аAccording to Rider, B.C. is stillаscheduled for a to be determined 2004 release.
Mr. Rider also said of the sequel, "A number of really cool features have already been slated for inclusion in the sequel development simply for the reason that not enough time is available to complete our entire wish list for this game."
