EA has said that gamers will get their first taste of the next-generation of John Madden football during this year's NFL Draft telecast on Sarurday, April 23. The 60 second spot, which will feature "photo-realistic graphics and heart-pounding football intensity", will air during the first hour of the show on ESPN between 12 PM ET and 1 PM ET.
"We have had a dedicated team working on next generation Madden NFL football and we cannot wait for Madden fans to get a sneak peek at the experience that awaits them," said Frank Gibeau, Senior Vice President of North American Marketing for Electronic Arts. "An innovative and unparalleled NFL football experience is what we've promised; and that is what we are going to deliver."
ESPN and EA seem to be taking their new marriage to mutually benificial heights. But somehow, I doubt the true draft junkies will be wavered by this spot, however Madden fans should eat it up.
