News: Oh yeah, Capcom classics, life is good.

As part of their E3 Press Conference today, Capcom announced a ton of new games. One of the first among them was a look to the past. Capcon Classics Collection is scheduled to ship this September for the Xbox and PS2.

The collction will feature 22 Capcom classics (hence the title) from their early arcade work with WWII shooter 1942 to the heyday of the Super NES and the street brawler Final Fight. Other confirmed additions include Ghosts 'N Goblins and Commando.

The other 18 are unknown at this point but the smart money is on Bionic Commando, 1943 and Strider being included, just for starters.

Like any good compilation, the Capcom Classics Collection will feature some bonus material like original artwork, remixed music and playing tips.
