News: Everyone's favorite arcade racer is jumping to the Xbox 360.

Ridge Racer 6 was a no show at E3 this year. In fact we didn't even know it existed until the Xbox Summit in Tokyo a few weeks ago. But Namco won't let us down in the release date department. Another hardware launch and another Ridge Racer will be ready for it. That's right, Ridge Racer 6 will be ready for the Xbox 360's launch in November.

RR6 will use a matchmaking service called Worldwide Online Multiplayer Battles that will create the online marriages that will end in bitter drift racing battles. Players will also be able to post their best Time Attack times to a leaderboard and download ghost racers to practice against.

Namco plans to support the Xbox Live Marketplace with new cars and other game content after the game is released. No prices for these downloadables was revealed.
