News: Activision confirms some stuff we kind of already knew.
Activision announced their financials yesterday and confirmed a few things that we kind of already knew.
First things first, those financials in Activision's last quarter (July 1 - September 30) show that they made $222.5 million in revenue. During the same period last year they made $310.6 million.
But on to the game stuff. First, they have announced that Gun for the PSP has been delayed to sometime in 2006. Previously it held an early 2006 release date.
But next comes the important news. Activision confirmed that they are hard at work on games based on the movies X-Men 3 and Over the Hedge. Both games will no doubt ship alongside their respective movies which puts both around a late May release.
No specific platforms were mentioned for the titles but I would assume an Xbox 360 version (in addition to the current gen systems) of X-Men 3 is likely.
We'll have more on both of these games once they're officially announced.
