News: Confirmed for the US: Resident Evil DS, Extreme Ghouls n Ghosts and more Final Fantasy than you can dream of.

Who says video game magazines are behind the curve when it comes to news? The January 2006 issue of Nintendo Power (which hit my mailbox today, the first of December) has a nice little list of confirmed titles for the US.

First, Capcom has confirmed that Resident Evil: Deadly Silence is coming to America. Meanwhile, Square-Enix has confirmed that the 3D remake of Final Fantasy III is also coming American DSes (DSi?). And the GBA is still getting some Square-love with ports of Final Fantasy V and Final Fantasy VI.

Not to be outdone, Play Magazine (The greatest game magazine currently in existence!) has dropped the bomb that while Extreme Ghouls 'n Ghosts has not officially been announced for America a Capcom rep has confirmed "that it's only a matter of time."

None of these titles has a release date, but when they do we'll let you know. Woo for new portable fun!
