While the Sly Stallone starring Judge Dredd did not light the box office on fire, Evolved Games is hoping that their new game based on the franchise will.
Judge Dredd" Dredd vs Death is a first person shooter set in the Dredd universe and it is all set to ship for the PS2, GameCube and Xbox on March 3. The action pits you, as Dredd, up against the recently escaped Judge Death in adittion to the various other low life criminals that populate a futuristic world like Mega City One.
"Judge Dredd: Dredd Versus Death will bring this heroic character to life like never before," said Daniel Kearns, Sales Director of Evolved Games. "This fast-paced FPS will offer gamers all the action, weapons and effects they crave with a unique comic-book style element that will set it apart from the crowd."
Dredd vs Death will include over 50 unique characters, at least 24 different levels, and a four player split screen deathmatch option. No word yet on whether Rob Schneider's character will make the jump from the movie to the game.
