News: Warner Brothers is working on an adaptation of their upcoming movie.

Warner Brothers announced today they are hard at work on a PSP adaptation of their upcoming movie 300.

Based on a Frank Miller graphic novel and starring Gerard Butler, 300 tells the story of the Battle of Thermopylae. Players will take command of King Leonidas and his 300 Spartans against Xerxes and his Persian army.

300 will be developed by Collision Studios and feature a Dynasty Warriors-like mixture of swords, spears and shields during a massive battle.

"We are working with Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment to ensure 300: March to Glory captures the look and action of the film while making it fun to play on the PSP system," said Philippe Erwin, Executive Producer of 300: March to GLory for Collision Studios. "The source material allows for great freedom in making a game where the player can be strategic and heroic."

300: March to Glory will ship alongside the movie sometime in 2007.
