News: It's good to be bad.

EA has announced the first expansion for the the LOTR RTS, Battle for Middle-earth II. The game will be out for the PC this winter and will be called... deep breath... The Lord of the Rings: The Battle for Middle-earth II - The Rise of the Witch-King.

The Rise of the Witch-King will allow players to experience The War of the Ring from the side of evil. The expansion will add "an entirely new faction (The Witch-King's army of Angmar), completely new single player campaign, and additional units for all six existing factions" to the game. EA has also said that players will be able to use the Angmar faction in skirmish, multiplayer, and War of the Ring modes.

Finally, EA has said the War of the Ring and Create-A-Hero modes will be expanded and upgraded in the expansion.

We'll have more on... deep breath... The Lord of the Rings: The Battle for Middle-earth II - The Rise of the Witch-King soon.
