News: The entire legacy of Trek captains will voice Star Trek: Legacy.
Bethesda Sofoworks has announced they've secured the services of the five greatest astronauts in the history of mankind to help with Star Trek: Legacy. That's right, lending their voices to the game will be the captains of all five Trek TV shows. Did you think I meant Buzz Aldrin?
Star Trek: Legacy is coming to the Xbox 360 and the PC this fall and for those of you that don't know, here are the five actors who will be taking up the mantle of "Captain" once more:
William Shatner as Captain James T. Kirk from Star Trek: The Original Series (1966-1969)
Patrick Stewart as Captain Jean-Luc Picard from Star Trek: The Next Generation (1987-1994)
Avery Brooks as Captain Benjamin Lafayette Sisko from Star Trek: Deep Space Nine (1993-1999)
Kate Mulgrew as Captain Kathryn Janeway from Star Trek: Voyager (1995-2001)
Scott Bakula as Captain Jonathan Archer from Star Trek: Enterprise (2001-2005)
"I am delighted to have the chance to celebrate the 40th anniversary of Star Trek with my fellow captains by providing our voices to Star Trek: Legacy," said William Shatner. "Bethesda Softworks has done an excellent job in creating an exciting game that stays true to Star Trek's roots and accurately incorporates elements from each series."
We'll have more on Star Trek: Legacy soon.
