News: EA Sports Big's arcade football franchise gets a new coverboy.

The NFL Street series has never gotten the glory and acclaim its big brother, the NBA Street series, has received. Which is probably why NBA Street is jumping to next-gen systems early next year and NFL Street 3 will only be appearing on the PS2 and PSP on November 14.

And Chad Johnson of the Cincinnati Bengals will be following in the footsteps of Giant Jeremy Shockey as the cover athlete of NFL Street.

"This is a big honor to be selected for the cover for NFL Street 3 since street football was the first step to learning our moves for our pro careers," said Johnson. "I really like this game and it is so much fun to play with all the new airborne moves you can do now. I've always been known to have style when I play but now I can show how stylin' I am in NFL Street 3."

While NFL Street 3 has been described as being very similar to its predecessors, the new name of the game is "air". In Street number 3, players are encouraged to jump into to collect bonus items and perform stylish new moves for extra points. The new "Gamebreaker" systems of special moves should make NFL Street 3 stand out.

We'll have more soon.
