News: Hmm, wonder what it could be.
Telltale Games has revealed on the Jobs section of their website they are working on a game for the Nintendo Wii. They don't come right out and announce what the project will be, but there are several clues about what kind of game we're looking at here.
Clue number one is that Telltale has previously said they were in talks with Nintendo to bring the Sam and Max series to the Wii.
Clue number 2 is the job listing on Telltale Games' website. It states any applicants must "Modify and support existing art and production path to accommodate Wii production" on the project. In other words, they will take an exisiting Telltale property and modify it for the Wii. Telltale's properties include:
Sam and Max
CSI
Bone
Ankh
Law and Order: Criminal Intent
Al Emmo
Samorost
While that doesn't make Sam and Max the definite choice, it does make it the obvious one.
A few weeks back, we asked can the Wii save the adventure game in an exclusive Gaming Target feature and it looks we just might be right. Because the final secret the job listing revealed is that the game would include Wii-specific features.
I guess we'll find out if Sam and Max will hit the Wii road soon.
