Sierra has announced they are teaming up with Australian developer Auran Games to bring a Battlestar Galactica game to the Xbox Live Arcade and PC this Fall.
The game will (obviously) take the form of the space shooter with players sliding into both human and Cylon ships. Single-player and multiplayer modes will recreate "legendary ships from the television show... as well as missions based on favorite episodes."
"We're huge fans of Battlestar Galactica and are thrilled to have the opportunity to create a game inspired by the TV series," said Ed Zobrist, president of Sierra Online. "NBC Universal is working closely with us so that players will be able immerse themselves in the Battlestar Galactica universe and re-live their favorite missions from the TV series."
