News: Everybody dance now! EA has announced another exclusive for the Wii.
This morning, EA announced Boogie, a new music party game, for the Wii. The game is currently scheduled to saunter onto the dance floor sometime in 2007. It is being developed by EA Montreal, the team responsible for the recent SSX Blur and the upcoming Army of Two.
According to EA "Boogie will have gamers dancing, singing and starring in their own music videos." Players will be able to create a custom character while showing off their dancing and karaoke skills. Naturally, the game will also feature "unique Wii controls."
УWe're creating something new and different for gamers of all ages to enjoy; the complete party package where gamers can dance as well as sing,Ф said Alain Tascan, Vice President and General Manager, EA Montreal. УNintendo's Wii is an amazing console that really gives us a platform to be creative and to re-think traditional game development.Ф
We'll have more on Boogie soon.
