News: And could BioShock be coming to the PS3 while Final Fantasy XIII goes to the 360?

Sony Europe's "semi-official" blog ThreeSpeech has posted an interesting rundown of 2007 releases for the PS3. Interesting for one title it includes and interesting for one title it says might jump ship.

According to ThreeSpeech, Heavenly Sword, Lair, WarHawk (which they have pegged as a PSN game only), Killzone and Ratchet & Clank: Tools of Destruction will all be released in September. Here's the relevant quote:

September is shaping up to be a big month for PS3 games. That's when we'll see Heavenly Sword, the ultra-responsive arena-based swordfighting game, innovative dragon-fighting game Lair and the air, foot and vehicle combat game WarHawk, which is still looking likely to be released over the PlayStation Network rather than in the shops. First-person shooter Killzone, too, should surface in September, as well as the first PS3 version of Ratchet & Clank.

If even half of those games are on track for September 2007, the PS3 will have an outstanding Fall. Only one, Lair, has been given an official release date by Sony America. SCEA says it'll be coming in July, so a September release date for Europe seems about right. Killzone has yet to make a public appearance since it's infamous E3 2005 showing.

Elsewhere in their post, ThreeSpeech believes that SingStar PS3 will ship sometime over the Summer and BioShock will as well. This was a surprise to most as 2K and Microsoft have said BioShock would be an exclusive release for the Xbox 360 and Games For Windows [UPDATE: ThreeSpeech has retracted their claim about BioShock coming to the PS3. Maybe it is and maybe it isn't, but as of right now it looks like it's officially not coming to the PS3.].

The blog also stated that the year would end on a high note with Devil May Cry 4, Assassin's Creed and possibly a high definition version of Wipeout Fusion (a la Tekken 5: Dark Resurrection).

But the biggest news probably concerns Final Fantasy XIII. ThreeSpeech had this to say concerning the venerable RPG franchise:

One rare third-party game that should be exclusive to the PS3 is Square Enix's latest epic RPG, Final Fantasy XIII.

Wait, "should be exclusive"? Does that mean Final Fantasy XIII is making a jump to the Wii or Xbox 360? Only time will tell but if even Sony's "semi-official" blog is starting to believe the rumors it certainly makes me wonder.

We'll have more on all of these future PS3 games soon. And won't it be interesting if 2K announces BioShock for the PS3? Because then Sony might have a XIII pound problem on their hands.
