News: Capcom goes back to the zombie well.

QJ.net is reporting the newest issue of Famitsu has confirmed that Capcom is hard at work on Dead Rising 2 for the Xbox 360.

Nothing else was revealed in the post, but QJ was quick to point out that Capcom's Gamer's Day event will be happening tomorrow and that's it's possible we'll get more information then.

We'll definitely have more on Dead Rising 2, the sequel to one of the 52 Games We'll Still Be Playing From 2006, very soon.

Update: Capcom has issued a statement saying that this report came from the Famitsu rumor page and that it was mistranslated as being confirmed. Capcom has said they currently have no pending announcements for Dead Rising 2.

On the other hand, Dead Rising sold over a million copies and that usually means something to publishers. I have a hard time believing that the company that created over a dozen Resident Evil titles isn't working on Dead Rising 2. It'll come, it's just not official yet.
