News: Sega announces a sequel to one of the most renowned Xbox 360 launch titles.
Sega has announced Condemned 2: Bloodshot, the sequel to one of the most renowned games from the Xbox 360 launch, at their Gamer's Day today. The game will be coming to the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 sometime in early 2008 and will once again be developed by Monolith Productions.
Condemned 2 once again places players in the role of former Serial Crimes Unit investigator Ethan Thomas. Ethan has been called back to the SCU to search for his missing partner, but the events of the first game have left him a broken man. Sega has also promised plenty of new innovations for Condemned 2. Here's what gamers can expect:
As Ethan, players will engage in visceral combat using a variety of firearms, blunt instruments and an all-new fighting system complete with defensive and offensive combo chains, as well as grapples and holds. To help track the killer and solve the mysteries behind Condemned 2: Bloodshot, players will crack open an all-new set of high-tech forensic tools. Using wits and brute strength, murders can be solved a number of different ways to keep players guessing throughout each suspenseful investigation.
