News: Only to the PSP that is.
LucasArts has announced the third game in the Star Wars: Battlefront series, Star Wars Battlefront: Renegade Squadron, will be coming only to the PSP this fall.
Renegade Squadron tells another untold story of the original trilogy, this time it's the story of Han Solo putting together a Dirty Dozen-like fighting force:
Star Wars Battlefront: Renegade Squadron is the previously untold story of a ragtag ensemble of battle-hardened rogues and scoundrels assembled by Han Solo. Gathered to execute some of the most secretive operations in the Rebel Alliance's war against the Galactic Empire, the Renegade Squadron participates in battles spanning the galaxy. From the Valley of the Sith on Korriban to a dogfight in space through the remains of Alderaan, Solo directs the team on missions of sabotage, rescue and retrieval.
The game will include "robust customization options" to create millions of different characters. Players will be able to choose from a wealth of attributes including weapons, equipment and abilities.
Renegade Squadron will also feature an online multiplayer mode with matches of up to 16 players over the Internet and eight through a local wireless connection.
We'll have more on Star Wars Battlefront: Renegade Squadron soon.
