Tony Hawk proves himself in a new game @ Gaming Target

News: Tony Hawk's Proving Ground coming to PS2, PS3, Xbox 360, Wii and DS.

Activision has announced the new game in the Tony Hawk series, Tony Hawk's Proving Ground, will be released later this year. The Hawkman's latest video game adventure will be coming to the PS3, Xbox 360, Wii, PS2 and DS.

According to Activision, "players will have the freedom to define their character, story and style based on the choices they make, the paths they choose and the style of skating they use on the proving grounds from Philadelphia and Baltimore to Washington, D.C." In addition to this new style of play, Proving Ground will feature more "Nail the Trick" moves as well as a fully customizable Skate Lounge.

The game will also feature a Video Editor that will allow players to edit their own "epic skate video." Online play will become even more integrated in this version of Tony Hawk as players will be able to "skate from single player to online seamlessly."
