News: The Atari classic drops the nuclear option on the Live Arcade.
Atari has announced the Stainless Games-developed port of Missile Command for the Xbox Live Arcade will be added to the service this week.
Missile Command for the XBLA will include both original and "evolved" graphics modes with the evolved version sporting 1080p visuals, full-screen anti-aliasing and 3D rendered vistas.
"Atari and Stainless Games have done an incredible job creating the evolved Missile Command for Xbox Live Arcade as this version showcases a stunning take on an endearing Atari classic," said Matt Rush, Producer, Atari, Inc. "The new experience features amazing graphics and impressive sound design, with a great way to earn Achievements on this arcade favorite!"
Missile Command will be available for 400 Microsoft Points.
