News: Konami has gamers hook, line and sinker.
Konami and Hudson will continue their Wii pact in the future with the announcement that Konami is bringing Hudson's Fishing Master to the system in the near future.
Fishing Master will place players in the wading pants of an aspiring fisherman who is spurred on by his grandfather to win the "Fishing Master" title. Along the way he will use the Wiimote and Nunchuk to "bait, cast, hook, & battle a variety of different fish." The game will also feature a four-player multiplayer mode.
"For years, gamers have looked to Hudson for innovative and enjoyable video gaming experiences, and we're more than excited to say that we're back with a great game like Fishing Master," said John Greiner, President and CEO of Hudson Entertainment. "Fishing Master is sure to become an instant hit with the entire family."
Fishing Master will be on hand at next week's E3 show.
