Trivia: Eternal Darkness: Sanity's Requiem (GameCube)
Originally in development for the Nintendo 64.
Inspired by the writings of H.P. Lovecraft.
"Inspector LeGrasse" was a character in Lovecraft's short story The Call of Cthulhu.
At the end of chapter five, Dr. Maximillian Roivas is instiutionalized in Jefferson Coombs Asylum. Actor Jeffrey Combs has appeared in four films based on H.P. Lovecraft's stories: Re-Animator, From Beyond, Bride of Re-Animator and Beyond Re-Animator. He also portayed Lovecraft himself in Necronomicon: Book of the Dead.
In Metal Gear Solid: The Twin Snakes (also developed by Silicon Knights), the magazine used to distract guards is called ED Magazine. The characters of Ellia and Alexandra Roivas appear in the magazine.
"Roivas" is "savior" spelled backwards.
