505 Games, the European publisher of the Cooking Mama, has announced that the game's developer OfficeCreate is hard at work on Cooking Mama 2 for the Wii and DS. Gamers looking for seconds from the quirky cooking series will get their chance in early 2008.
Cooking Mama 2 will feature new recipes, twice as many minigames and a multiplayer mode.

Majesco, the American publisher of the Cooking Mama series, has yet to make a formal announcement concerning Cooking Mama 2. But considering how successful the series has been for them, an American release date will no doubt be revealed soon.
