Trivia: Castlevania Chronicles (PSX)

  • Castlvania Chronicles was initially released in a "Limited Edition" run of 30,000 copies.

  • Castlvania Chronicles is an enhanced remake of Akumajo Dracula, a Castlevania game released only in Japan for the Sharp X68000 computer. That game was itself a remake of the original Castlevania on the NES.

  • Arranged Mode adds character sprites and other artwork to the game created by Ayami Kojima, the character designer of Castlevania: Symphony of the Night.

  • The story takes place in 1691, chronologically 100 years after Castlevania II: Belmont's Revenge for the Game Boy and seven years before Castlevania II: Simon's Quest for the NES.
