Namco Bandai announces One Piece: Unlimited Adventure @ Gaming Target

News: The next One Piece game will be exclusively available for the Wii.

Namco Bandai has announced they will be bringing the anime adaptation One Piece: Unlimited Adventure exclusively to the Wii in early 2008.

For those who aren't up on the latest adventures of the One Piece pirates, here's what Namco Bandai says to expect from the game:

In One Piece: Unlimited Adventure, the motley Straw Hat Pirates find themselves stranded in a mysterious land after a massive island rises to the ocean surface from underneath their pirate ship. Players must assume the role of their favorite One Piece persona and explore this newly formed terrain to uncover the secrets and powers that lie within this isle.

Other features in Unlimited Adventure include a "new storyline in Adventure Mode using one of eight Straw Hat pirates, a Survival Mode and Vs. Mode to unlock more than 40 additional playable swashbucklers." Full Wiimote and Nunchuk control will also be on hand allowing players to "pull, turn and swing" their way to victory in battle.
