News: Two new portable juggernauts make their debut at the Tokyo Game Show.
Ah, the Tokyo Game Show. It's the best time of the year to get a glimpse of all the really crazy stuff that comes out of the Japanese video game industry and then lament that most of it is never coming to America. But there's a very good chance both of these newly announced games will come to America.
First up,
Joystiq is reporting that Sony has announced
Secret Agent Clank for the PSP. According to Joystiq, the game will feature plenty of platforming, a chance to play as Captain Quark and a section that seems reminiscent to a rhythm game. Once again, High Impact Games will be developing Clank's handheld adventure.
Next, we have
1UP revealing that
Metal Slug 7 is coming exclusively to the DS.
SNK Playmore's action shooter series will feature the same shooting action the series is known for and a combat school mode that will be more mission based.
Neither game has a release date (and with all Tokyo Game Show announcements, there is the possibility an American release will never be announced), but we'll hopefully have more soon.
