News: And Sega adds a few 'Dream' events.
Sega has announced a few new details concerning Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Games.
The first (and most exciting) bit of news is that the game will include a Mii integration option so players can pit their Wii Miis against Mario, Sonic and all the other characters in any event.
The second bit of new news is that Sega has added four "Dream Events" to the Olympic slate. These events offer a more video gamey spin on the sporting events (with powerups and colorful environments) and they are:
Dream Race (Sandhill Race Course) Ц Get on your marks for this intense power-up filled race course, made for either one player, or as many as four.
Dream Platform (Tropical Reef Diving Area Ц 10,000M Diving) Ц More like skydiving, soar through hoops and perform aerial tricks while avoiding obstacles and opponents to reach the finish line first.
Dream Fencing (Duel Wharf Fencing Beach) Ц With unique special attacks for each character, this jungle-inspired world offers the ultimate duel.
Dream Table Tennis (Speed Rally Table Tennis Stadium) Ц A sci-fi wonderland, this magical table tennis extravaganza offers a special ability for each character Ц so move fast!
