Atlus brings Operation Darkness and Spectral Force 3 to Xbox 360 @ Gaming Target

News: Famed publisher of Japanese RPGs is invading the Xbox 360 next year.

Atlus has announced they will begin publishing games on the Xbox 360 beginning next year. Their plan for world domination of the Xbox 360 platform will begin with a pair of Strategy RPGs, Operation Darkness and Spectral Force 3.

Developed by Success, Operation Darkness is an alternate take on World War II which posits that Hitler controlled a legion of demons and the undead as well as a formidable human army. Players will control a team of elite soldiers that must take him out.

Other features of Operation Darkness include:

Lead the Offensive! Brave dozens of missions, confront supernatural creatures, and discover mystical powers as you progress through a sweeping campaign of drama and mystery!

A Strategy-RPG with an Emphasis on Tactics! With a vast arsenal of historical weapons and a large team of specialized characters at their disposal, players will have to consider every variable as they plan their method of attack Ц using the environment to your advantage is imperative!

High-definition visuals, fully-voiced dialogue, and in-game cutscenes deliver a true next-generation experience!

Spectral Force 3, developed by the Idea Factory, is the first title in the long-running series to arrive in America. The story involves mercenaries in a medieval setting known as the "Magic Age." Other features include:
