EA has announced their next board game-to-video game translation to come out of their deal with Hasbro: Monopoly. Monopoly will be coming to the Wii, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 2 this Fall and will be based on Monopoly Here & Now: The World Edition.
In addition to the traditional game (with updated "Here & Now" dollar amounts), Monopoly will also include mini-games and "4-player simultaneous play" to create faster gameplay and less downtime. One of the mini-games will revolve around breaking out of jail with a massive amount of loot.

The game will also feature additional unlockable boards and the international feel of the upcoming World Edition board game, which will also be released in the Fall.
