News: Racing game will be available for download this fall.
Electronic Arts has announced that they will begin offering a downloadable version of Burnout Paradise on the PlayStation Store this Fall. The game will be sold online for $29.99 and will include all of the updates and expansions the developer has released for the game so far. A new update that will include PS3 Trophy support and the addition of motorcycles will also be available this Fall, presumably around the same time the game is added to the PlayStation Store.
This will mark the first time that a game previously released on a Blu-Ray disc will also be offered on the PlayStation Store. The Sony published titles
Gran Turismo 5 Prologue and Warhawk have also been released in disc form and on the PSN, but that was planned from their inception. Also, Koei's Fatal Inertia EX was originally going to be released on a Blu-Ray disc, but the games many delays encouraged Koei to release the game as a download-only title.
