News: Will you answer the Call (of Duty) of the World of Warcraft?

The already overloaded holiday release schedule gets another batch of games added to the pile as a good dozen highly anticipated titles will make their way to store shelves this week.

The biggest release of the week is no doubt Blizzard's second expansion to World of Warcraft, World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King (PC).

World War II rages on with the release of Call of Duty: World at War (DS, PC, PS2, PS3, Wii, Xbox 360) while an alternate history version of World War II comes to the Xbox 360 with Command & Conquer: Red Alert 3.

EA's free-running first person adventure game Mirror's Edge will bring new heights to the PS3 and Xbox 360. Speaking of new heights, the Wii gets online voice chat with the WiiSpeak peripheral and Animal Crossing: City Folk. And speaking of big Wii sequels, Namco Bandai will bring the action RPG Tales Of Symphonia: Dawn of the New World to the console.

Other big sequels include Rare's Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts on the Xbox 360 and Mortal Kombat vs DC Universe on the PS3 and Xbox 360. Personally, I can't wait to pound on Superman with Sub-Zero.

Finally, the DS gets plenty of new games this week with Pokemon Ranger: Shadows of Almia, Guitar Hero On Tour: Decades and Tecmo Bowl: Kickoff (the first Tecmo Bowl game in over a decade!).
