News: The first and only NASCAR game for the Wii, according to EA.
Electronic Arts has announced they will be entering the crowded kart racer field when they publish NASCAR Kart Racing for the Wii on February 10.
The game will include splitscreen play for up to four players as they race through "treacherous landscapes, wind around rocky cliffs, jump rivers and dodge falling boulders." These landscapes will be spread across 24 tracks made up of "deserts, freeways, back roads, canyons, junkyards and more. Drivers will also push the pedal to the metal in areas surrounding four popular NASCAR tracks: Daytona International Speedway, Talladega Superspeedway, Dover International Speedway and Bristol Motor Speedway."
NASCAR Kart Racing will feature 24 racers, 14 real life NASCAR drivers and ten original animated characters. The NASCAR racers are:
