News: Some bloody good new releases are coming this week including Resident Evil 5 (finally!) and MadWorld.
"Zombies, man. They creep me out." - Kaufman (Dennis Hopper), Land of the Dead.
It has been four long years since the last proper entry in the Resident Evil series, Resident Evil 4, was released. In that time the franchise has seen a handful of ports and spinoffs, but Resident Evil 5 (PS3, Xbox 360) is finally here. And fans of the brain-craving undead couldn't be happier.
While Wii owners won't get a crack at Resident Evil 5, they'll get their own blood-soaked horror game in MadWorld. MadWorld takes the premise of The Running Man (convicts forced to compete in a game show-to-the-death for fun and ratings) and adds a stylish black and white (with splashes of red) art style. The first of the GameCube "Wiimakes", New Play Control! Mario Power Tennis and New Play Control! Pikmin, will also be released this week.
