News: With a name like Stalin Vs. Martians, you know it has to be good.

Two days ago, the demo for Operation Darkness landed on Xbox Live and its crazy plotline featuring a Hitler-led army of zombies, vampires and demons came with it. Today, another historical figure from World War II will mix it up with a less than conventional enemy as Stalin takes on aliens in a real time strategy game for the PC titled Stalin Vs. Martians.

Stalin Vs. Martians is being developed by Black Wing Foundation, Dreamlore and N-Game for a 2008 release. No publisher has signed on as of yet, but with a title like Stalin Vs. Martians, I'm sure it's only a matter of time.

There's not a lot of gameplay details yet (none in fact), but here's the story:

Year 1942. Summer. The martians suddenly drop off somewhere in Siberia and attack the glorious people of Holy Mother Russia. The situation is a total mess, so comrade Stalin takes the anti-ET military operation under his personal control. The operation is top secret and practically nobody knows about the fact of extraterrestial intervention. You take control of the Red Army troops and start kicking the alien butts under the wise Stalin's guidance.

We'll have more soon.
