News: Famitsu spills the beans about Capcom's next RE foray on the Wii.

Capcom had previously announced they would be announcing a new Resident Evil game at this Thursday's launch party for Resident Evil 5. Then, Capcom executives started talking about how happy Wii owners will be when they hear what the company has planned for the series on the system. And then the Japanese game magazine Famitsu Weekly had to go and spoil the whole thing.

Their latest issue has a short blurb about Resident Evil: The Darkside Chronicles coming to the Wii. The Darkside Chronicles will be a light gun shooter and a sequel to 2007's Resident Evil: The Umbrella Chronicles.

As you can see from the picture, Leon Kennedy and Claire Redfield are involved somehow and zombies will slowly lurch towards the screen. Other than that, Capcom has left the world in the dark about The Darkside Chronicles. At least until their official announcement on Thursday.
