News: But how many of them are any good?

The mobile analytics site MobClix has revealed that over 6,000 games are available on the iPhone App Store in their latest count.

The App Store passed the 6,000 game barrier recently and in the last month has added 314 games to bring the total up to 6,380 as of today. At this rate, the service could pass the 10,000 game mark by the end of the year.

The biggest category is (not surprisingly) puzzle games with 2,179 games. The smallest is another surprise, as racing games account for only 120 games on the App Store.

But how do you know if any of those 6,380 titles are any good? Well, Gaming Target has begun to review iPhone games. We've only got a handful up right now but, like the App Store, the number can only go up.
