News: The world's greatest golfer is back with a new PS2, PS3, PSP, Wii and Xbox 360.
With Tiger Woods' recent comeback on the PGA Tour, Electronic Arts has announced the latest edition of their Tiger Woods PGA Tour franchise, Tiger Woods PGA Tour 10 (10 as in 2010, it's actually the 19th title in the series).
Previously announced for the PSP and Wii, Tiger Woods PGA Tour 10 will also be coming to the PlayStation 2, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 on June 16. As always, it will again be developed by EA Tiburon.
Tiger Woods PGA Tour 10 will receive a bit of a makeover as EA has said it will take on a look more closely resembling a television broadcast. That new look includes a new announcer team as well. ESPN's Scott Van Pelt and The Golf Channel's Kelly Tilghman will be stepping up to the mic in Tiger Woods 10. Current weather conditions will also be included in the game and updated in real time (provided you have an online-connected console).
The featured course in Tiger Woods 10 will be this year's U.S. Open course, Bethpage State Park (Black Course). It will be available on the PSP, PS3, Wii and Xbox 360 versions of the game.
Finally, as we already knew, Tiger Woods PGA Tour 10 will be one of the first games to make use of the Wii's MotionPlus add-on for an even more realistic golf simulation.
