News: Pronounced 'zombie', you'll never guess what it's about...

3G Studios, the team behind bestselling Wii game Jillian Michaels Fitness Ultimatum 2009, has announced their next project: XomB (pronounced "zombie"). With Left 4 Dead, Resident Evil 5 and House of the Dead: Overkill, zombies are everywhere these days. And when XomB is released (it's currently in development for the PC, next-generation consoles and select handhelds), the walking undead will shamble into feudal Asia.

In XomB, it seems that the "Darkness" is spreading throughout the land and reanimating the dead. Naturally, the player will have to destroy these unholy creatures, but in certain instances the player will be able to control the Darkness as they free the reanimated corpses from its grip. According to 3G, the game will draw heavily from Asian mythology.

XomB will be released by the end of the year.

We'll have more soon, because you can never have too many zombies. Well you can, but by then you'd be too busy running for your life.
