News: The Rabbids go solo and attempt to go home.

After three successful games in the Rayman Raving Rabbids series, the crazy party game animals known as Rabbids are striking out on their own. Coming to the Wii in late 2009, Rabbids Go Home has the Rabbids (don't call them rabbits) leaving their party game ways behind and attempting to return to their home.

The game will be built from the ground up with a brand new engine designed for the Wii by Ubisoft Montpellier. Rayman creator Michel Ancel will help with the development as well.

More information on Rabbids Go Home is in the May 2009 issue of Nintendo Power, which is on newsstands now. The magazine describes the game as an action-adventure that looks and feels like a Saturday morning cartoon.

We'll have more soon.
