News: Yes, Larry Fitzgerald and Troy Polamalu will be the first duo to grave a Madden NFL cover.

EA Sports has announced that after a far-reaching search (that presumably did not involve any retired players), they have found the cover athletes for Madden NFL 10.

Yes, for the first time time ever, two players will share the Madden NFL cover (and the Madden Cover Curse). Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald and Pittsburgh Steelers safety Troy Polamalu will both appear on the cover, which you can see on the left. This battle of offense and defense ties into EA's theme for Madden NFL 10: "Fight For Every Yard".

The two beat out seven other finalists: Ed Reed of the Baltimore Ravens, Ben Roethlisberger of the Pittsburgh Steelers, DeMarcus Ware of the Dallas Cowboys, Peyton Manning of the Indianapolis Colts, Brandon Jacobs of the New York Giants, Adrian Peterson of the Minnesota Vikings and Matt Cassell of the Kansas City Chiefs.

EA also used this opportunity to unveil the first trailer for the game and introduce the Wii version's new stylized look.

But first, here's the debut trailer for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 version:

And for all the Wii owners out there, here's the debut trailer for the Wii version. I think the cartoony graphical style looks great:
