Electronic Arts has announced that Dwight Howard, the Center for the Orlando Magic, will grace the cover of NBA Live 10. The basketball video game will once again be developed by EA Canada and will be released on the PlayStation 3, PSP and Xbox 360 in October. This is a bit of a cutback for the series as last year's NBA Live 09 was released on those three platforms as well as the PlayStation 2 and Wii.
EA Sports is promising "several new innovations" to the franchise, but didn't really go into any specifics:
Featuring several innovations to the core gameplay experience and online game modes, NBA Live 10 is bringing a renewed focus to the long-running EA Sports basketball franchise. The groundbreaking Dynamic DNA service, driven by Synergy Sports Technology, will make a return in NBA Live 10, with significant improvements that will allow players to connect their game to the NBA season like never before.
