News: The game sells for over a million copies on the PS3 and Xbox 360.

The NPD Group has released their report on the bestselling games and consoles in May and gamers are ready to rumble. The Xbox 360 version of UFC 2009 Undisputed (the first UFC game in five years) took the top spot, while the PS3 version land at number four. Nintendo's resurrection of Punch-Out!! on the Wii also landed in the top ten during its debut month with a spot at number eight. Two other games also debuted in the top ten this month, Infamous (PS3) at number five and X-Men Origins: Wolverine (Xbox 360) at number nine. Finally, exercise was big during the month of May as two fitness games for the Wii, Wii Fit and the recently released EA Sports Active, jogged into second and third place.

Speaking of Wii Fit, it continues its quest to topple the install base of the PlayStation 3 system. As of the end of May, Wii Fit has sold 7,364,800 copies while Sony has sold 7,744,900 PS3 consoles. Just 380,100 units separate the two as of today. If Wii Fit and the PS3 continue their current sales pace, the PS3 will be passed sometime in July.
